Page 1 of 5 In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to create rocket using nurbs, and then animate its movement using path curve. Also I’ll show how to make simple smoke trail.
First go to create/CV curve tool.
Then just click to make points. Make simple profile for rocket. If you make a mistake just press delete and the point will be deleted. When you finish press enter.
So you shall get something like this
Then select that curve and go to Surface/revolve option box
In options window set it to rotate around Z axis
So you got simple rocket geometry
If you want to tweak the rocket just select the curve and edit it. The rocket will be updated. Note, construction history must be on (it is by default)
Now select the rocket geometry and go to isopram mode and select the last isopram.
Then go to surfaces/planar. This will make planar surface from selected shape.
Now create more curves like this
Select them all
