Page 4 of 4 The delete place3d texture2 and mmb drag from place3dtexture1 to projection2. I did this so I don't have to use two projection objects for transparency and incandescence.
Connect WorldInverseMatrix[0] to placementMatrix.
Set the colors on ramp2 as shown:
Move the colors on bottom. You shall have light blue between two blacks. Set position keys for all three colors.
At frame 50 move colors up and set keys.
That's it
* You can map positions of ramp colors with 3d texture so the slicing line will be noisy.
