Page 3 of 4 7. Click on the helmet and than on hierarchy "affect pivot only" and "center to object" to get the pivot to be in center. Make a cylinder with 32-64 sekments and click on align tool like in picture. Make the adjustments and than move it up. (This is where the funny feathers like thing will go) ![]() 8. Now make a longe box with 14 width segments. Convert the box to poly and turn on option "ignore backfacing" (so that you do not select the polygons from the other side of the object) and select 14 upper polygons like in picture and do a little inset. ![]() 9. Now select the outer polygons as in picture (easy way is to go to edge mode and select one edge and than click on "ring" and while holding "ctrl" click the mouse on the red cube that turns on polygons, automaticaly edge will turn into polygons) Now click on the extrude option and just slightly pull the polygons upwards. (if someone has problems with hiding objects all the time you can select the object you are working with and than click "alt + Q" in the same time, you will sithc to isolation mode) ![]() |
